SunEdison Free To Push Back Rights Offering Cutoff

Law360, New York (August 3, 2017, 5:57 PM EDT) -- A New York bankruptcy judge clarified Thursday that SunEdison Inc. has the authority to modify the procedures of a $300 million rights offering that underpins the renewable energy giant's exit from Chapter 11, leading SunEdison to withdraw a request to extend the cutoff date and allow removal of escrowed funds.
