NLRB Chairman To Exit Agency At Conclusion Of Term

Law360, New York (August 8, 2017, 2:54 PM EDT) -- Philip Miscimarra, chairman of the National Labor Relations Board, has told the Trump administration that he will leave the agency when his current term on the labor board expires in December, he confirmed on Tuesday.

In an Aug. 1 letter to NLRB staff members, which Miscimarra confirmed to Law360, the NLRB chairman said that in order to be in closer proximity to his family, he would not consider being reappointed for a fresh term despite being encouraged by the Trump administration to do so.
