Former SEC General Counsel Rejoins WilmerHale

Law360, New York (April 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After a two-and-a-half-year stint with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, former acting general counsel Andrew N. Vollmer has returned to WilmerHale LLP as a partner in the securities department at the firm's Washington, D.C., office.

While at the SEC, Vollmer worked on investor protection rules related to fraudulent adviser conduct, brokerage activities of banks and providing investors with interactive financial information.
