Law360, New York (August 14, 2017, 5:32 PM EDT) -- VF Corp., a company that manages multiple clothing and footwear brands, announced Monday it has agreed to acquire privately owned Texas-based Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Co. for $820 million in cash, in a deal guided by Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.
Greensboro, North Carolina-based VF, which owns Jansport, The North Face, Wrangler and Timberland, among other brands, said in a statement that it was acquiring Fort Worth, Texas-based Williamson-Dickie, which owns the workwear brand Dickies.
