Northrop Denied En Banc Hearing In Katrina Dispute

Law360 (April 3, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After the court previously found that the defense contractor’s policy “unambiguously” excluded flood losses, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has denied Northrop Grumman Corp.’s request for a full-court rehearing of its coverage dispute with Factory Mutual Insurance Co. over about $1.26 billion in Hurricane Katrina damages.
