Calif. Urges Judge To Block Valero Energy Terminal Deal
Law360, San Francisco (August 16, 2017, 10:49 PM EDT) -- The state of California asked a federal judge at a hearing Wednesday for a preliminary injunction blocking Valero Energy Corp. from buying two petroleum terminals, saying it would hurt competition and raise fuel prices, while Valero warned that granting the request would kill the deal.
