Pfizer Gets 2nd Request For Info On $68B Wyeth Deal

Law360, New York (April 3, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Pfizer Inc. disclosed Friday that it had received a request for additional information from the Federal Trade Commission in connection with its proposed $68 billion acquisition of Wyeth Inc.

This “second request” for information was anticipated as part of the regulatory process, according to Pfizer.

“Pfizer intends to respond expeditiously to this request and continue to work cooperatively with the FTC in connection with its review,” the pharmaceutical giant said in a statement.
