Sun Microsystems, Unisys Join DRAM Battle

Law360, New York (September 5, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Sun Microsystems Inc. and Unisys Corp. have joined the legal wars over dynamic random access memory (DRAM), filing a lawsuit Friday against Hynix Semiconductor Inc. and a slew of other chipmakers for alleged price-fixing.

The lawsuit, filed on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, seeks to recover damages the two companies claim they have incurred as a result of “long-standing collusion” by the DRAM suppliers.
