Judge Asked To Step Down In State Farm Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (April 7, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The head of a medical treatment center that is accused of defrauding State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. of $5 million in insurance benefits has moved to toss the magistrate judge from the case, citing a conflict of interest with the judge's former law firm, Akerman Senterfitt.
