Claims Pared In M&T's $82M Suit V. Deutsche Bank

Law360 (April 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has given partial victories to both sides in an $82 million lawsuit brought by M&T Bank Corp. against Deutsche Bank AG over securities whose value plunged with the subprime crash, ruling that the case will proceed while rejecting some causes of action.

Judge John Curran of the State of New York Supreme Court for the County of Erie issued a mixed ruling on Tuesday denying some of the defendants' motions to dismiss, while granting others.
