Santa Barbara Drops Support For Offshore Drilling

Law360 (April 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors in California is calling on government officials to reinstate a moratorium on leasing and drilling for oil and natural gas along the California coastline, reversing the position the board took in a 2008 letter to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger requesting exploration of offshore fuel resources.
