Sun-Times Seeks Approval For Bankruptcy Hires

Law360 (April 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Newspaper company Sun-Times Media Co. has filed a series of requests with the court overseeing its bankruptcy proceedings, seeking to retain Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP for the reorganization process.

In motions filed Friday and Monday, Sun-Times asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to retain Young Conaway and Kirkland & Ellis as bankruptcy co-counsel retroactively to the petition date.
