Sebelius Vetoes Bill To Allow Coal-Fired Power Plants

Law360, New York (April 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, a Democrat, has vetoed for the second time legislation that would allow Sunflower Electric Power Corp. to construct two coal-fired power plants in the southwestern portion of the state, though the state House of Representatives' Republican speaker has vowed to try again to override the veto.
