FLSA Suit By Shuttle Drivers Gets Judge's Nod

Law360 (April 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has conditionally certified a proposed overtime class action against two companies that operate a shuttle service for United Parcel Service Inc. employees at the UPS world hub in Louisville, Ky.

Judge Charles R. Simpson III of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky on Saturday granted a motion by the plaintiffs to allow notification of putative class members in the case against the Free Enterprise System Inc. and Sodrel Truck Lines. UPS is not named as a defendant.
