Pfizer Detrol Patent Still Enforceable: Judge

Law360, New York (April 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has shot down Ivax Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s request to reconsider findings that Pfizer Inc. did not intend to deceive the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in seeking to patent ingredients for its bladder control drug Detrol, hurting Ivax's efforts to sell a generic form of the drug before the patent expires.
