Trial Date Set For NatWest Three

Law360 (September 7, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- It will be about a year before a jury will hear the case of three former bankers whose extradition from the United Kingdom to face Enron-related charges in the United States caused a stir in the U.S. and abroad.

Judge Ewing Werlein, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas scheduled the trial for the so-called NatWest three for September 2007. The trial would likely last three to four weeks, the judge wrote Wednesday.
