US Stalls For More Time On E-Verify Rule Change

Law360, New York (April 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Federal officials have announced they will put off implementing mandatory E-Verify requirements for federal contractors until at least June 30, seeking more time to review the proposal and giving a federal court time to issue a decision on whether the rule changes hold up under legal scrutiny.
