Law360 (April 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Three recent rulings may lead plaintiffs to reconsider bringing patent infringement suits in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, once deemed a plaintiff’s paradise.

After Re TS Tech USA Corp. and In Re: Volkswagen I and II made it easier for defendants to transfer cases out of the Eastern District of Texas, many plaintiffs are shopping for alternative venues and revising their litigation strategy as a result.
