Former AIG Honcho Tossed From Derivative Case

Law360 (April 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has dismissed the former president of American International Group Inc. and current leader of insurer ACE Ltd. from a shareholder derivative lawsuit brought against the executives and directors of AIG.

Judge Denise L. Cote of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed Evan G. Greenberg, the son of former AIG honcho Maurice "Hank" Greenberg, from the litigation Monday after he and the plaintiffs agreed to toss the claims against him.
