Deals Rumor Mill: T-Mobile, LyondellBasell, HSH Nordbank

By Benjamin Horney (October 30, 2017, 7:49 PM EDT) -- SoftBank Group Corp. is no longer looking to ink a merger of T-Mobile US Inc. with Sprint Corp., with The Wall Street Journal reporting on Monday that the company is wary of giving up control of Sprint. SoftBank commands more than 80 percent of the wireless giant. Reports in late September said T-Mobile and Sprint were on the verge of reaching a tentative agreement for a merger that would unite the third- and fourth-largest U.S. wireless carriers. According to Monday's report, however, SoftBank has called off negotiations with T-Mobile parent Deutsche Telekom AG....
