8th Circ. Won't Toss Woman's Sentence For Visa Falsehood

Law360, New York (November 7, 2017, 4:26 PM EST) -- The Eighth Circuit on Monday affirmed an Iowa federal jury's decision to sentence a woman to three months in prison and three years of probation for making a false statement while applying for a I-130 visa for her fourth husband, saying her conviction was backed up by sufficient evidence.
