Pa. Justices To Revisit Ex-Lawmaker's Campaign Conviction

Law360, Philadelphia (November 7, 2017, 6:19 PM EST) -- The Pennsylvania Supreme Court announced Tuesday it would hear former state House Speaker Bill DeWeese’s challenge to a 2012 conviction for directing legislative staffers to campaign for him during working hours on the grounds that his prior attorney failed to preserve testimony from 14 witnesses that suggested otherwise.
