Justices Will Hear Suit Over Calif. Abortion Disclosure Law

Law360, New York (November 13, 2017, 4:29 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday agreed to consider whether a California law requiring clinics to tell women how to access information about low-cost contraception and abortions violates the First Amendment rights of providers who oppose abortion. 

The justices said they'll review whether California's law violates the First Amendment's free speech clause, but not the amendment's free exercise clause.
