Travelers, Consulting Co. Battle Over Subpoena Costs

Law360, New York (April 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Travelers Casualty and Surety Co. of America and a Texas consulting company are embroiled in a dispute over who should pay the costs of compliance with an Internal Revenue Service investigation into the alleged creation and marketing of an illegal tax shelter scheme.

The parties filed dueling motions for summary judgment filed Thursday and Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
