Okla. High Court Revives Ford Faulty Pedal Suit

Law360 (April 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A nationwide class action against Ford Motor Co. over allegedly defective accelerator pedals has been revived by Oklahoma's Supreme Court, which has overturned a lower court's decision to strip the plaintiffs of class status.

On April 21, the state Supreme Court vacated the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals decision and reinstated class certification for the plaintiffs' claims of breach of warranty, ruling that the trial court did not abuse its discretion in granting class status in 2007.
