Kirkland Snags Vinson & Elkins Capital Markets Partner

Law360, Houston (November 20, 2017, 7:10 PM EST) -- Kirkland & Ellis LLP has bolstered its capital markets practice and hired away a former partner at Vinson & Elkins LLP to join its Houston office, the firm announced Monday.

Julian J. Seiguer, who has significant experience representing energy companies in initial public offerings, focuses his practice on corporate finance and securities law, including complex equity and debt capital markets transactions and follow-on equity transactions, according to his biography on the firm's website. 

His experience includes representing Inergy LP and Inergy Midstream LP in an $8 billion transaction with Crestwood Midstream Partners LP and Crestwood Holdings LLC and representing Foresight Reserves...
