Ex-Health Care CFO Admits Stealing $1.1M From Company

(November 22, 2017, 5:37 PM EST) -- The former chief financial officer of an orthopedic care provider admitted in New Jersey federal court to stealing more than $1.1 million from the business and spending it on gambling, golf and other unauthorized expenses, authorities said Wednesday.

In a deal with prosecutors, Harry Wolfmuller, 70, formerly of Belmar, New Jersey, pled guilty before U.S. District Judge Claire C. Cecchi to one count of wire fraud, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey.
