Buffalo Wild Wings Sues P&G Over 'Blazin' Trademark

Law360, New York (April 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. has sued Procter & Gamble Co. over a new flavor of Pringles chips that the restaurant chain claims infringes its trademark for “blazin'” to describe a sauce for spicy buffalo chicken wings.

The Minneapolis-based operator of the popular grill and bar chain filed suit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, claiming it has been using the word “blazin'” for one of its signature sauces since 1994.
