Bally Infringes IGT Slot Machine Patents: Court

Law360 (April 30, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a patent dispute over slot machines between International Game Technology and Bally Gaming International Inc., a federal judge has ruled that some Bally products infringe IGT patents but others do not.

In a 72-page order issued Tuesday, Judge Sue L. Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware granted IGT's motion for summary judgment that two of the patents-at-issue are valid and denied Bally's motion for summary judgment that the third patent is invalid.
