VesCor Receiver Sues Nev. Firm Over $1.7M In Fees

Law360, New York (April 30, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The court-appointed receiver in a U.S. government case accusing real estate company VesCor Capital Corp. of running a $180 million Ponzi scheme has sued Nevada law firm Lionel Sawyer & Collins Ltd. over $1.7 million in allegedly fraudulent legal fees.

The lawsuit was filed Thursday by lawyers for receiver Robert D. Wing in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah and accuses the firm of fraudulent transfer and unjust enrichment.
