Plaintiffs' Firms Seek Payout For Valdez Saga

Law360, New York (May 1, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Now that the majority of plaintiffs in the Exxon Valdez lawsuit have received their share of a $383 million payout, the 22 law firms that represented them for roughly two decades have suggested a way to divvy up the fund for their services, even though the final value of the punitive damages award remains uncertain.
