Soupman Goes Into Ch. 7 Liquidation With Judge's Blessing

By Ryan Boysen (December 15, 2017, 2:38 PM EST) -- The bankruptcy case of soup purveyor The Original Soupman Inc. has nearly run its course now that a Delaware bankruptcy court has converted the case from Chapter 11 to a Chapter 7 liquidation, according to a notice filed on Thursday.

In an earlier motion asking the court to convert the case, the debtor said it doesn't have much left to administer or to reorganize following the sale of most of its assets to a creditor in September.
