NYC To Get Data In Suit To Stop Insurance Merger

Law360 (May 4, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has denied a bid from Group Health Inc. and HIP Foundation Inc. to reconsider an order compelling the health insurers to disclose certain detailed account information to the New York City government in its antitrust lawsuit challenging the joining of the two companies.

U.S. District Judge Ronald L. Ellis of the Southern District of New York found Thursday that he had not overlooked any relevant facts when he granted the city's motion to compel the documents in November 2008.
