Court Revives Unfair Labor Case Against St. Vincent

Law360 (September 12, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a setback for St. Vincent Medical Center, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Monday breathed life back into a union’s unfair labor practice charge against the Los Angeles hospital, granting the union’s petition for review of an earlier decision dismissing the charges.

The Healthcare Employees Union Local 399 had petitioned the Ninth Circuit to review a final order of the National Labor Relations Board handed down in 2003.
