VesCor Receiver Sues More Attys Over Ponzi Profits

Law360, New York (May 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The court-appointed receiver in a government case against a real estate firm accused of operating a $180 million Ponzi scheme has sued law firm Woodbury & Kesler PC, in an ongoing effort to retrieve what the government calls unlawful payments to parties that did business with VesCor Capital Corp.

Woodbury & Kesler is at least the second firm targeted in connection with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's case against VesCor in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah.
