Sens. Urge More DOT Transparency Over Exploding Air Bags

Law360, New York (July 13, 2017, 3:27 PM EDT) -- Two Democratic senators have asked the U.S. Department of Transportation for increased transparency about what vehicles are safe to operate after American Honda Motor Co. Inc. recently confirmed the 11th known fatality related to exploding Takata Corp. air bags in its vehicles and Takata added another 2.7 million air bags to an existing recall.
