Pa. AG Can Bring Parallel Navient Claims, CFPB Tells 3rd Circ.

Law360 (August 29, 2019, 9:23 PM EDT) -- The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau told the Third Circuit on Thursday that its governing statute allows for parallel enforcement by the agency and state attorneys general, sticking up for Pennsylvania's right to bring harmful practices claims against Navient Corp. that are similar to ones the agency is already pursuing.
