Del. Ruling Gives Schorsch, Others Part Of $18M Fee Tab

Law360 (February 13, 2018, 9:23 PM EST) -- Real estate investment trust mogul Nicholas Schorsch and three former Schorsch-venture executives won a partial victory Tuesday in a Delaware Chancery Court fight for $18 million in legal fees arising from investor lawsuits and government investigations.

The ruling by Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster emerged out of continuing fallout from the meltdown of Schorsch’s American Realty Capital Partners empire following an accounting scandal in 2014.
