Ex-Troutman Partner To Lead Boies Schiller Privacy Practice

Law360 (July 29, 2019, 7:04 PM EDT) -- Boies Schiller Flexner LLP has hired a former Troutman Sanders LLP partner, known for helping companies leverage their intellectual property while keeping data safe, to lead its data privacy practice out of its San Francisco office, the firm announced.

Mark Mao, who is particularly expert on providing privacy help as it relates to emerging technologies, has worked on more than 400 cases in litigation, advised organizations on hundreds of products and services, and handled more than 100 data breaches or similar incidents, the firm said July 25.
