NY Gov., Pot Regulators Subpoenaed In Ascend-MedMen Spat

Kathy Hochul to produce documents connected to a legal dispute between cannabis companies MedMen and Ascend over an investment deal that went south.

MedMen sought the subpoenas of Hochul's office, the New York Office of Cannabis Management and its governing body, the Cannabis Control Board, after it filed counterclaims against Ascend Wellness Holdings, alleging the company exerted political pressure to push through the deal.
