Dow Chemical Can't Exit Urethane Antitrust MDL
Dow Chemical Corp. lost its bid Tuesday to escape long-running multidistrict litigation brought by direct purchasers accusing it and other urethane foam makers of conspiring to fix prices, with a Kansas federal judge saying the plaintiffs had offered evidence of a conspiracy.

Huntsman International LLC has agreed to pay $33 million to settle claims from direct purchasers in multidistrict urethane antitrust litigation, while bankrupt Lyondell Chemical Co. likewise reached a deal to exit the long-running case in Kansas, the plaintiffs said Thursday.
