Verizon Pays $510M To Settle TiVo, ActiveVideo Patent Suits
Verizon Communications Inc. has agreed to pay $510 million to settle separate patent infringement lawsuits filed by TiVo Inc. and ActiveVideo Networks Inc. over digital video recording and on-demand technology used in the company's FiOS television service, according to company statements Monday.
