The PACid Group LLC asked a Texas federal judge on Tuesday to dismiss three consolidated lawsuits it had lodged against Best Buy, Eastman Kodak Co. and a slew of other companies over two network encryption patents.

Fujitsu America Inc. has become the latest defendant to exit a suit brought by PACid Group LLC accusing technology companies of infringing two patents for network encryption.
