LG, Sears To Pay $23M To Settle Energy Star Suits
LG Electronics USA Inc. and Sears Holding Corp. said Wednesday they would pay up to $23 million to settle two proposed class actions in New Jersey claiming the companies falsely advertised refrigerators as Energy Star-compliant in violation of warranties.
