SoftView Mobile Web Display Patents Nixed In AIA Reviews
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's Patent Trial and Appeal Board on Thursday invalidated two SoftView LLC patents related to displaying website content on mobile devices, finding that prior art rendered both patents obvious in the challenge brought by Kyocera Corp. and Motorola Mobility Inc.

Apple, AT&T's Bid To Bar IP Defendants Using AIA Fails
A Delaware federal judge on Wednesday rejected Apple Inc. and AT&T Mobility LLC's claim that the patent reform law should have barred SoftView LLC from adding 18 additional defendants to its patent infringement lawsuit against them.
