Former Sentinel Management Group Inc. executive Eric A. Bloom asked an Illinois federal judge on Friday to throw out the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's allegations that he defrauded investors and helped push the company into bankruptcy, saying that an associate was the real culprit.
