A New York federal judge released an opinion Monday blasting attorneys from McAndrews Held & Malloy Ltd. and Schiff Hardin LLP for their "bad faith" litigation on behalf of Arachnid Inc. in a digital jukebox patent dispute, awarding fees and expenses to TouchTunes Music Corp. Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated the amount of the fees owed and that Arachnid's counsel would have have to pay attorneys' fees, as opposed to the company itself. Those errors have been corrected.
