Fertilizer Co. To Pay $17.6M Over Nitric Acid Pollution
Fertilizer company CF Industries Holdings Inc. on Tuesday agreed to fork over about $17.6 million to settle allegations that it violated the Clean Air Act at nine nitric acid plants in Iowa, Mississippi and Oklahoma.
