    Somaxon Pharmaceutical Inc. said Tuesday it had settled patent infringement suits against generic drugmakers Mylan Inc. and Par Pharmaceutical Cos. Inc., striking deals that will keep generic versions of Somaxon's insomnia treatment drug from hitting the U.S. market until 2020.
