Atty Sanctioned Over Big Tobacco Cancer Trial Conduct
A California federal court Monday slapped an ex-smoker's attorney with $1,500 in sanctions for repeatedly trying to drag inadmissible evidence into a lung cancer trial against tobacco giants Philip Morris and R.J. Reynolds, saying the attorney was "flouting" court orders in bad faith.
